Nokia Braille Reader

Nokia created the Braille Reader application is still in testing phase, which allows visually impaired people to read text messages on the mobile screen.

In short, is an application that allows you to "read" Braille SMS on the mobile screen!

Incredible is not it?

The program uses the phone's vibration motor (which responds when the user touches the screen) to "read" a Braille letter point by point, with notifications character by character.

Nokia says that there is a pause between letters and a longer interval between words. When the text message arrives on the phone, the application shows SMS in a box at the top left of the screen, and press the top right of the device allows you to enter the mode.

The Nokia Braille Reader in English, is now available for download!

It was developed, and works best on Symbian s60v3, or touchscreen. But it also works on s60v3!

It is worth testing to impress with one more function for our Symbians, and extremely useful for anyone who has any type of visual impairment!
