Snaptu (Facebook, Twitter, Picasa)

Snaptu is a browser interface with full of widgets. There are several very interesting applications. There are widgets for Facebook to Picasa, Twitter, RSS reader, weather in AccuWeather, Google Calendar, an English dictionary.

Although it is Java based, implementation is quick and quiet, with no crashes and slowdowns. It seems a program format. System working! The only drawback of the program, something that should be corrected in future versions, is part of the passwords. If you let your saved password, if password from the menu again, will not be protected with asterisks. A mistake, because your phone can fall into the wrong hands, and passwords will be unprotected. Because of this detail, I recommend that the way to store password is not used.

The use of this Twitter app is quiet, and in my opinion, the experience of the use is more complete than in Tweets60. We open the timeline of users, and turn follower to unfollow, reply, direct, visit the links. The only feature missing is a URL shortener (in this Tweets60) and lack of integration with TwitPic. Well, I never used the TwitPic, but I know that many uses and is something that could be present in future versions. The URL shortener is an important issue, given the character limitation of Twitter, and is really useful for bloggers! So that it is already present in Wordmobi.

The look is clean and follows the original colors twitter: Bluey baby that irritates many people, but I do not care. An interesting detail is the customer's help in English, explain to laymen what is twitter, which is a reply, direct, etc.. Questions for beginners, but pouvas people have the patience to explain!

The RSS client is a show! Allows importing feeds from Google Reader. The reading of the feed is selected from the program source which has a large, which makes it comfortable reading.

As part of Facebook, much like the orginal interface.

Also test the connection with Google Calendar, those who have and enjoy, it syncs with your Google Account same.

The dictionary will probably be based online. They have a good database, but is only one English-English dictionary. Anyway, have enough entries, and the explanation thereof is very efficient and very helpful in the case of searching an unfamiliar word in the English language.

Finally, one of the programs available is a friendly game of Sudoku, which even has option to save the game and continue later. Great hobby for mobile phones! To add programs not visible, just go to Options - Add Aplication. Applications that are not in the home program will be there. There are news readers to Reuters, BBC, among others.
